I walk/talk in my sleep, call out to people, act out dreams, and even cook a meal or play on the computer. Help!! I read where part of the brain doesnt go 2 sleep and so the activity. Is this true? I would love 2 talk 2 someone who has the same problem. I am type 2 dibetic, so eating sweets is NOT good.

I have insomnia. I’ve had it ever since I was in college.
I’m a total insomniac. Yesterday, I slept from 1pm-7:30pm. Today, 11pm-5:30am.
But as for *your* problems, if you want to stop, you’ll have to ask your doctor. Or ask someone who lives with you to chain you to a bed, and see if that helps.
I have trouble getting enough sleep.
I was an insomniac until I found Zyprexa. My doctor just recently switched me off of that and on to Seroquel. I’m thinking that works too!
You can control your own dreams, they do not have to be unpleasant.
I have used this and it is fantastic

Good luck and Happy Dreams
I’ve had insomnia all my life. I did poorly in primary school because I wasn’t sleeping properly. Then in h.s. and college it was the same thing except in college I had about a 6mo. stretch when I slept every night.(not sure how that happened.) Currently I’m in a state where, if I don’t take some form of medicine that will completely knock me out, I’ll never go to sleep. I’ve had brain scans and lab work out of this world and they can’t find anything wrong. I took numerous otc sleep aids with no luck. I took ambien with bad consequences-driving and cooking and not remembering any of it. Then a few months ago I was taking Lunesta which worked up to a point and I got to a max dose and it wasn’t helping. Now I’m taking seroquel which most nights wipes me out so I can hit the bed and not even think about trying to sleep, it just happens.
