Breathe EZ only opens your nose, not your throat. Sleep apnea is when you stop breathing, your brain wakes itself up to resume breathing -- these strips do nothing for Sleep Apnea.

I've used them for snoring but then had a sleep study and needed a C-PAP machine -- Continuous Positive Air flow Pump (pump may be incorrect). C-PAP forces air into your lungs at you specific pressure to keep your brain from waking up from lack of oxygen so you get a better night's sleep.

Have your thyroid checked as your endocrine system controls sleep and it may be an endocrine problem.

Breathe EZ nose clip / strips are for people who breathe through their noses and their nasal passage is too small (deviated septum, swelling, etc.) NOT SLEEP APNEA -- totally different category of problem that nothing over the counter can help!!!

I have had sleep apnea for about 5 years. I was told by my ENT MD at Mass Eye & Ear Infirmary that the "Breathe RIght" strips are useless for sleep apnea. The problem which causes sleep apnea is in your throat and not your nose or sinuses. I ended up with a CPAP machine and it works fine. I am trying to investigate about a new surgical procedure but still need some more info.

Good Luck.
