I had trouble sleeping with these in my ears and they really did not keep out the sounds of my snoring dog.

Bought these a while ago because my roommates kept drinking and yelling every night and reviews about this were positive. These block out small sounds well, such as someone tapping their keyboard in the next room, or the hum of a room fridge at night, but do absolutely nothing to lower the sound of anything louder than a computer fan, even when properly inserted. It’s been only a week since I started using it so it’s still uncomfortable to sleep with, though one of them always falls out by the time I wake up in the morning. I wouldn’t recommend getting these unless things like crickets chirping keep you up at night. Since these did not work, I had to move to another apartment.

These ear plugs work great for keeping ALL sound out! I work nights, so a good product is needed. They are also very comfortable. I highly recommend them.

I bought these for mowing the lawn (I also use a STIHL trimmer, which produces a much more painful noise), and they worked perfectly. The trimmer and mower sound far quieter with the plugs in than my ultra-quiet garage door opener, or just pushing the mower while off, sounds with the plugs out.
The plugs fit well – they have never bothered me. However, I have not worn them for more than around three hours continuously.
I would not recommend them for more than a single use. Besides being dirty (and uncleanable), they spring back into position quicker, making it almost impossible to get them in your ears before they expand. It took me almost three minutes. But the first time you use them they are as easy to get in as any other ear plug.
