Have Monthly Checkups at your local Physician.

my dad was diagnosed with sleep apnea and he went to his doctor then he spent the night in the hospital and they monitored him overnight and they gave his a machine called a c-pap, it is a machine that had a hose and a mask attached to it and he puts the mask on before he goes to bed and night and it pumps air to him it also had a built in humidifier and that keeps him breathing trough the night and it makes him more well rested in the morning too, but make sure you have health insurance because the machine is about 3,000 dollars but they usually rent it first just to make sure you use it and then after about a year they usually give the machine to you.

You need to go see a specialist. There are many cause of sleep apnea. Some can be fixed with an operation, and some require special breathing machines. Sleep apnea deprives you of rest, which puts stress on your mind and body. It can also mess with your metabolism causing you to gain weight.

I’m sorry that I don’t know anything about the enlarged heart though.

need to continue follow up with your doctor. There are medications you can take to help remodle an enlarged heart. You may need more tests as well, like an echocardiogram. If you have sleep apnea, then that is pobable the reason you have heart disease, decause your heart is chronically being deprived of oxygen which makes it work harder to pump blood. You need to be on C-pap when sleep and possibly some oxygen with it.

Did your doctor not give you any information, do tests, or prescribe medication or treatment?
Your lifestyle contributed to this most likely. Are you obese? Drink or smoke?
Get educated on heart health (try the website for American Heart Association) and nutrition.

Also, if you’re overweight, lose weight. This will take strain off your heart. Also, it can improve sleep apnea.
