Is Insomnia ( the fall asleep type) a symptom of apnea?

I know stay asleep is

what about fall asleep?

I just got diagnoses and trying to see whats caused what

    No. Sleep apnea occurs when, during sleep, a person is unable to breathe for several seconds and they stir back awake. If you are not yet asleep, you don’t stop breathing.

    I used to have sleep apnea, and sleep apnea is when you are already asleep and you basically quit breathing and suddenly wake up. You have to have special treatments for the condition. I lost a bunch of weight and thank goodness I don’t need the treatment anymore. Good luck!!
