Is there a correlation between sleep apnea and bradycardia?

    Yes there is. I have tachycardia and bradycardia and the cardiologist recommended getting tested for sleep apnea (I know I have it) and getting the CPAP machine.
    Often I would doze off feeling fine and wake up after 60 seconds or so having an episode of bradycardia. Mine was controlled with medication.

    yes, your heart uses alot of oxygen to maintain its normal cycle. When you quit breathing and desaturate, your heart rate will slow.
