  1. Maud The Skivvy says:

    No coffee
    No tea
    No sugars
    No junk
    No artificial sweeteners

Give a milky drink at bedtime and perhaps a plain cracker. That’s all. Sugar stimulates them and they need to have time to ‘wind down’ in the evenings.

Take them for a walk around the park before their bedtime bath – that might tire them out.

You don’t say how old these kids are.

You need to be strict with them. Once they’re in bed, they need to remain there. Give them a couple of books and toys and leave a dim light on, which you switch off once they’re asleep.

I have two kids and I’ve never had any sleep problems because I simply don’t put up with it.

  2. Naveensuthas says:

Children eating too many sweets before going to bed too can affect their level of sleep. Eating too much and having a full tummy may also interrupt sleep as the child might have a bloated stomach and might want to urinate frequently…So it necessary to control the level of food for the children to avoid sleep disorder….
