I think when you first start it, it can be pretty annoying, but after you get used to it, you should be able to see a huge difference in the way you feel… I know many people who have to use cpap machines and they can’t believe how much more energy they have and how much better they feel… Good Luck…

Once you get used to it not hard. And you will have a very healthy full night sleep! You won’t believe how much better you will feel. It will feel a little weird at first and they might have to do some adjustments until you find a pressure that works well for you! Good luck.

Believe it or not, once you get used to it, you will find you go to sleep much quicker than you have in many years. You won’t be waking up with a “snort,” to catch your breath as you try to go under, and you won’t find yourself waking up in the middle of the night as often, if at all.

The machine should be virtually silent, and any sound it makes will be a “white noise” that actually cancells and masks other night time sounds.

The technician that sets you up should help you fit the right kind of mask to speed up the time it takes to get used to it.

Trust me, it truely is a life saver.

you gotta want to use it and understand the risks if you don’t. talk to your doctor and therapist in detail about your fears and concerns.

I’ve been using a CPAP machine for about 8 months now. When I first got the machine I had a hard time getting used to it because it felt like it was suffocating me. It took me about two weeks to adjust. Now I won’t go anywhere without my machine. I sleep so much better now with my CPAP. Beforehand I would wake up four or five times per night, now I might wake up once and that’s usually to go to the bathroom. There are many different kinds of masks so make sure to talk to your healthcare provider about different choices and which one would be best for you. Here’s a great website to check out for more information http://www.sleepapnea.com . Best of luck to you!

mine is wonderful. its is the best think i have done for myself.. i sleep better then i have in years.. it takes a little getting use to but didn’t take me but a few days. i wont even take a nap without mine..coz i can sure tell the difference.. the hose is long and it swivels so its not hard at all really. keep trying because it can save your life.. you lower the risk of heart attacks and stroke the dr told me.. so good luck
