Has anyone lost weight using a CPAP for Sleep Apnea?

I’m getting a CPAP and thought I heard something about people losing weight when using one. Has anyone had this experience and if so does anyone know why this happens?

I think I may have sleep apnea. Anyone out there have it?

Does anyone know about Central Sleep Apnea Disorder in children?
