If you go to bed early, is there any reason why someone with sleep apnea cannot get up at 6am to go to work.?

I scheduled my employee at 7am and he says that he cannot possibly get up and do his job, even though he has 2 days off prior. I find this to be just an excuse not to work this shift. Any advice?

What reason besides sleep apnea could be causing severe sleepiness?

My CPAP is not making the severe sleepiness go away. I get so sleepy I trip over things and am like being drunk. Yes-the sleep apnea was severe.
