Has anyone lost weight using a CPAP for Sleep Apnea?

I’m getting a CPAP and thought I heard something about people losing weight when using one. Has anyone had this experience and if so does anyone know why this happens?

I have “central sleep apnea.” What is this? What causes it? Is there treatment?
