Does my brother have some kind of sleep disorder?

My brother sleeps through half of the day and stays up all night im really worried is this normal?

Can you give me some issues and concepts on REM Sleep disorder?

How does this issue/concept affect me as an individual(example of life experience)? What importance might this concept/issue have to someone working in my chosen field?(a teacher) What implications does this concept/issue have for the community/society? I’ll appreciate this because this is for my final course.
