I am having sleep apnea treatment soon. What can I expect to feel like after CPAP or surgery?

Does sleep apnea ever go away if you treated as soon as you find out?

Does it ever go away at all? How does it ever go away? My husband is not over weight, he does not drink or smoke, he is only 29 and we just found out in 1 month ago that he has this.
