what category of drugs are used for sleep apnea or narcolepsy?

the ones to keep you awake… as in antipsychotics, narcotics etc… trying to locate what would be covered under our insurance because my husband’s prescription is not and I can’t figure out what category to look under.

Is there any prescribed sleeping medication that can be used if you have obstructive sleep apnea?

I use bi-pap, but am still unable to sleep. I thought I read somewhere that there is a prescription sleeping pill that is safe for peopel with obstuctive sleep apnea to use.
