What are the signs of a sleep disorder?

Let me first say that I am not a lazy person….but I can sleep unlimited amount of time and still be tired. I sleep through my alarm clock and don’t get up on time to go to class (college)…it’s caused problems between my husband and I because I sleep too late on the weekends, etc. My sleeping habits, problem…whatever you call it has caused distress in my life in more ways than one. And I have tried to fix it, and tell myself…damnit, you’re getting up at __ in the morning, and I never can seem to do it…I just keep hitting the snooze, telling myself that I’ll get up in 10 more min, and next thing I know it’s 4 hours later. Please help!

You have a Sleeping disorder see a sleep specialist there are 100s of things that can be the cause of your troubles. If you live in or near a large city call the hospitals in your area and ask if they have a sleep lab or a sleep center. If you snore a lab sleep might be your answer. If not start with a Sleep center. Ask the person that you get on the phone who they can recommend to see for a excessive sleepiness. They will more than likely sent to the better guy they can think of, now you will just need ot make sure that your insurance cover that hospital and Dr.
