very unlikely.
the term sleep apnoea denotes that the person wakes up because of lack of oxygen to the brain and therefore cannot go through the full sleep cycle.
this is because of blocked airway
if REM sleep is not reached, the person wakes up tired, as if he never slept at all.so he feels sleepy during daytime
so sleep apnea doesn’t mean that the person goes into apnoea when asleep.
it actually means that the person has no sleep due to apnea.
I do not like to argue but apnea DOES NOT mean that you necessarily WAKE UP ALIVE! CERTAIN forms of apnea, and people, unable to awaken themselves and manually breath, maybe accidentally to-much sleeping medication …. will not be aware that they are not breathing and DIE! It if determined as basal cause in the autopsy! In infants it does happen more often before the nervous system has fully developed. SID is just another name for the same condition of suddenly stopping breathing!
AUTOPSY IS THE ONLY INSTRUMENT LEFT TO MEDICINE.
Which is essentially stopping breathing.
The only reason I say this is that I was hospitalized and sedated under emergency conditions. I stopped breathing, three times, once where they notified my wife, THEY FELT as though I would of not started on my own! It was their theory, and this HARD-HEADED 60 YEAR OLD WAS , KINDLY DIRECTED TO A SLEEP CLINIC AFTER ESCAPING FROM THE HOSPITAL BY HIS WIFE !
I HAVE RE-GAINED 20 YEARS, ACCIDENTIALLY LOST 50 POUNDS AND HAVE A NEW LEASE ON LIFE THROUGH THE USE OF A CPAP MACHINE!
I WAS SAVED BY MY WIFE AND A MACHINE, I LIVED POORLY UNDER UNDUE STRESS FOR ALL-THOSE-YEARS. I WOULD BE ON A TABLE WITH SOMEONE CUTTING ME OPEN LAST YEAR SOME TIME. CPAP MACHINES WORK MIRACLES
