And you hold a world record!?!?!?!?!? i’m genuinely impressed. i swim like a brick in an inch of water! @123playdead thanks for the info, the only point I’ll clarify is that without wetsuit I was actually freefalling from about 20m. The descent is easy – it’s going through and getting back up that tires you out!

Im a Dive Master in Hurghada (Red Sea) And Ive dived in the Blue hole Before ..
This is quite impossible, Physically speaking without a WeightBelt Or Fins, and One Breath Is Amazing !

And Just for Info, Does anyone know why after around 40M He wasnt struggling to Descend anymore :) ?!
    - The Air Spaces (With Pressure) Underwater gets Smaller which Decreases the ‘ Air ‘ Inside his body therefore Making him Heavier (nothing to pull him up – Air -), Therefore You find him not moving alot = ]

carlosdaniel1288, the songs FC Kahuna – Hayling. Question for freedivers alike, when you dive to these depths and for such distance, tell me what your mind must be going through..do they almost meditate in a way to stay calm and relaxed through the dive? it just seems to me just as i reached the arch, id be like….hey saftey diver, let me get a swig of that air already..

  14. carlosdaniel1288 says:

    Who is this song???

(I konw is a stup question)

  15. bubblerings says:

The air in your mask and lungs and head… shrink to half the original volume in the first 10 meters, but only to one third original volume during the next 10 meters down (another 6th).
So, you do not need to clear very often after the first 10 meters.
The need decreases drastically, the deeper you go.

  16. 0cerpintaxt0 says:

do u have to clear ur ears on the way down? like with scuba diving?
it looks awsome would love to do something like this sometimes. but its cold here so i can only do a horizontal distance.

a lonely cell swims through the arch and approaches the giant egg, later joining his family on the surface

Possibly the best freediving footage I have seen. Beautiful great music too. Amateur freedive hunter gives much Props. This is a suicide sport. I have been close to the edge. It feels makes you feel alive when you almost die!!!!!!!!!!!

    speechless….

  23. scareface999 says:

whit the correct training it can be done, but it’s nothing for improvvised individuals

    btw
oxygen? would be for sure a suicide, as O2 is toxic !
